Shanghai Museum of Natural History

Both the farewell to the old museum and the preview of the newly-built one drew much concern, since Shanghai Museum of Natural History bore the memories of many local people. The museum, now in the internal trial operation is scheduled to open officially from the second quarter next year. More than ten thousand of specimens from world's seven continents are displayed in the museum, among which rare specimens add up to almost one thousand.

无论是老自然博物馆的告别，还是新自然博物馆的抢先探营，都能引起人们的关注，因为它承载着很多市民的童年回忆。上海自然博物馆新馆计划于明年二季度对外开放，目前正处于调试中。新馆展出来自七大洲的万余件标本模型，其中珍稀物种标本近千件。
